Product Overview

Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate — Oligo HA (7-10 K Da) is the most advanced, bioactive form of hyaluronic acid available. Unlike standard HA which functions primarily as a humectant and film-former, oligomeric HA fragments (approximately 35-50 disaccharide units) act as cell-signaling molecules that bind to specific receptors (CD44, TLR4, RHAMM) on skin cells, triggering powerful biological responses: accelerated wound healing, anti-inflammatory cytokine modulation, angiogenesis stimulation, and fibroblast proliferation.

Produced through controlled enzymatic hydrolysis of high MW sodium hyaluronate using specific hyaluronidase enzymes, Oligo HA maintains the native HA molecular structure while achieving a precisely defined, narrow MW distribution. UPOR Biotech provides complete documentation (COA, MSDS, stability data, enzyme statement) with every shipment.

Key Benefits

Accelerated Wound Healing

Oligo HA stimulates keratinocyte and fibroblast migration and proliferation — key processes in wound closure and tissue repair. Published studies show significantly faster wound healing rates with oligomeric HA.

Wound Repair

Anti-Inflammatory Action

Binds to TLR4 and CD44 receptors modulating inflammatory cytokine production. Reduces IL-6 and TNF-α while promoting anti-inflammatory mediators — beneficial for sensitive, irritated, and post-procedure skin.

Anti-Inflammatory

Angiogenesis Promotion

Stimulates new blood vessel formation (angiogenesis) in the dermis — improving nutrient delivery, oxygen supply, and metabolic waste removal for healthier, more resilient skin.

Angiogenic

Deepest Unrestricted Penetration

At 7-10 K Da, oligo HA freely diffuses through all skin layers. No penetration limitation — reaches every skin compartment for comprehensive biological activity.

FAQ

Oligo HA is the smallest bioactive HA fragment (7-10 K Da), produced by enzymatic hydrolysis of high MW HA. At this size, HA is no longer just a moisturizer — it becomes a cell-signaling molecule that activates wound healing, anti-inflammatory, and tissue regeneration pathways via CD44, TLR4, and RHAMM receptors.

Super low MW HA (20-50 K Da) stimulates endogenous HA synthesis and provides dermal plumping. Oligo HA (7-10 K Da) goes further — it is small enough to trigger specific receptor-mediated cell responses including wound healing, angiogenesis, and anti-inflammatory signaling. Oligo HA is the most biologically active HA grade available.

Enzymatic hydrolysis using hyaluronidase enzymes. This preserves the native HA molecular structure and ensures a narrow, precisely controlled MW distribution. Chemical hydrolysis (acid/alkali) is not used as it can damage the glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine units.

0.01-0.1% — due to its high bioactivity at very low concentrations. Oligo HA is extremely potent; minimal amounts produce measurable biological effects. Typically 0.05% in serums and wound care products.
